My Gold Rush Walking Tours start out in Chinatown by the Hilton Chinatown and have about 10 different stops covering about 1.2 miles. My stops include Portsmouth Square, Wentworth Place, Jackson Street heading towards Pacific Avenue, The Devils Acre, Sydney Town, The Old Hotaling Whiskey Empire, The Old Gold Asseyors Office, The Old Ship Saloon, Clarke's Point, The original location of Shanghai Kelly's Bar, ending up out by the waterfront for one romantic tale of The Gold Rush.
My original Ghost Tour of Nob Hill, Union Square, and The Theater District we meet up at the corner of Powell and California by the back stairs of the Fairmont Hotel. You'll hear scary tales of The Stanford Court Hotel, The Mark Hopkins, The Fairmont, The Flood Mansion, Huntington Park, Grace Cathedral, Dennis T. Sullivan Memorial, 450 Sutter The Medical Dental Building and a few stories from Union Square at The Westin Saint Francis and I have ghost stories from the Curran Theater, The Tony Rembe Theater and The Pinecrest Diner.
The stories are all based in fact and they promise to deliver thrills and chills plus I am a SAG member since 2001 and a Groundling since 2015 so you'll get some funny improv comedy to take the edge off the ghost stories LOL.
All of my tours include free use of EMF meters to heighten the suspense and fun of any of my tours.
To keep my experiences fun for everyone I try to keep my tour groups to a minimum of six people per tour. The cost is $20 per person or $10 for children. I can do larger tours for big groups upon request.
I am currently working on writing and creating a ghost tour for The Mission District. I have incredible knowledge of a couple of San Francisco's most notorious Madame's of The Gold Rush. I am also a close relative of A.T Still, the inventor of a branch of medicine invented in the late 1800's and known around the globe as Osteopathy. If your looking for juicy medical tidbits, Miss Still's walking tour of The San Francisco Gold Rush will give you enough information to play a medical game of clue to solve the question "why did A.T Still not go to the gold rush"
