About:

I'm currently the President of the San Francisco Tour Guide Guild and for some years have done a daily posting on the SFTGG website of items of interest to our guiding community, including restaurants and local current events. Check out the Forums' Current Events on our SFTGG homepage to view my daily postings.  I've also created most of the educational and training events for the SFTGG for the past several years; events such as San Francisco architectural tours, Wine Country tours, Muir Woods and Sausalito tours, San Francisco city tours, tours of Chinatown and North Beach, the Mission District, Golden Gate Park, and the Ferry Building.

Education:

In addition to being a Certified San Francisco Coach Tour Guide (CTG-SF), I have a BA in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and an MA in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. I'm also a licensed California Real Estate Broker. Very few people know San Francisco as well as I do and can talk about it as interestingly and authoritatively.

Personal Interests:

I love showing off San Francisco,  the Bay Area, and Northern California, which, in my  opinion, is one of the most magical places on planet earth. Along with that deep seated interest in all things San Francisco and California, among my many other interests are international travel, world history and geography, Asian culture and its history, geopolitics, and creating educational and training events and programs for the SFTGG

Special Tours:

Tours of places of interest in Oakland and the immediate East Bay. I've organized tours of the Paramount Theater, the Oakland Zoo, Oakland's Chinatown, the Port of Oakland, and the Gardens of Lake Merritt and the Bonsai Gardens at Lake Merritt.

Should guests wish to venture further into Sonoma County and its Wine Country, I've also created tours of Santa Rosa's Historic Railroad Square and Healdsburg, with its Plaza,  Dry Creek and Alexander Valleys, and the town of Petaluma.

With my guidance, I also encourage guests to design their own personalized tours based upon their interests.

I also offer very interesting, and specialized San Francisco adventures to venues such as the Hunters Point Shipyard Trust, the largest artists' community in America, the the Mission District's Precita Eyes Classic Mural Tour, and the Mare Island Historic Shipyard.
