Barbara Dimas

I have had the pleasure of designing tours for corporate groups, student tours, senior excursions, cruise ship optional tours, as well as private individuals and DMCs.  I am as comfortable with German motorcycle riders as I am with Italian bankers.

I lived in Europe for several years, studying in Germany and working in Italy.  I am looking forward to visiting Japan in 2026 for the World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations Conference where over 600 tour guides from around the world will come together for an educational and cultural experience.  

I also provide services for meeting planners including registration, hospitality desks, speaker coordination etc.

I am available to travel for conferences and incentive programs.

I taught cooking classes at Sur La Table and still enjoy baking and cooking.  I enjoy trying out new restaurants and in a city with over 3000 eating establishments there are plenty to choose from.  Ask me where to get the best croissants!
