Based in San Francisco, Elliot regularly guides throughout the city and Northern California, including Muir Woods, Sausalito, Napa and Sonoma Valley, Monterey, and Carmel. He has particular expertise in Silicon Valley and its entrepreneurial culture, as well as the region’s major universities, including Stanford University and UC Berkeley.
Conducting tours in English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish, Elliot adapts each experience to the audience, combining local insight, historical context, and thoughtful pacing. As a former university lecturer, he brings clarity and structure to each experience while maintaining a warm and approachable style.
Born in NYC and currently living in San Francisco, he spent a number of years living in Europe - France, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain - and has traveled extensively throughout the world (Asia, Africa, the Americas, Europe). His background in travel shapes his guiding approach and informs his commitment to making every visitor’s experience unique and memorable.
